General Information

Children must be 3 years old by July 31, of the current school year, to be enrolled in a Pattonville preschool classroom.

Our classrooms provide a place where each child can learn at his/her own pace in a non-competitive, non-threatening, positive, nurturing environment where learning is fun. Children learn in natural ways, while teachers provide understanding, enthusiasm and patience.

Curriculum

Pattonville Early Childhood board approved curriculum is based on a constructivist approach to learning. This approach emphasizes children learning through self-exploration, play, and hands-on activities. Activities are suited to children’s ages and abilities and address all areas of development including: pre-academics, intellectual, language, social, emotional, physical and creativity. Each child will be assessed three times per school year and issued a progress report.

The tuition-based preschool classrooms are half-day and full-day programs.

Half-day programs are either 2 days Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday or 4 days Monday through Thursday.

AM session is offered from 8:15-11:15 a.m.
