Board Actions

The board of education on March 12:

  • Heard a Prop S update on current construction work; view the presentation;
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s students in transition program evaluation; read the report or view the presentation;
  • Reviewed a presentation on district climate data;
  • Approved paying $5,597,672.29 for regular bills;
  • Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for February 2024;
  • Approved paying $168,414.99, for purchases made on Pattonville’s purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of 1% (or $1,684.15);
  • Approved the amendment to the 2024-2025 school year economic agreement with the Pattonville Educational Support Professionals (PESP);
  • Approved paying $5,523 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan & Jackstadt for legal services;
  • Approved administrator/program director salary ranges and administrative philosophy/guidelines for the 2024-2025 school year;
  • Approved the 2024 legislative platform;
  • Approved, as lodged for action on Feb. 13, the revisions to policy IGDF (Student Fundraising) and the rescission of policies EHD-R-2 (Student Electronic Communication Policy), IGDF-R (Student Fund-Raising Activities) and IGDF-R-E (Student Fund-Raising Activities);
  • Approved, as lodged for action on Feb. 13, the student and staffing projections for the 2024-2025 school year;
  • Awarded the proposal for fiber optic wide area network (WAN) lease to Delta Communications LLC, doing business as Clearwave Fiber, for $287,400.00 per year for five years with an option to renew;
  • Approved the renewal of turf maintenance services to Spectrum Lawn and Tree Care for the period of March 15, 2024, to March 14, 2025, for an estimated amount of $51,633;
  • Awarded the request for proposal for 14 school buses to Central States for $2,054,624.60; and
  • Selected Hastings + Chivetta Architects to perform architectural services for Phases 2B and 3 of the 2022 Prop S bond issue with an estimated $61 million in construction costs.
