Award badge that says "St. Louis Post-Dispatch STL Headline 2026 Winner."

Pattonville High School has been named the 2026 Best Public High School in the STL Headliner Awards. The annual program is presented by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch following a public vote. The STL Headliner awards recognize the most trusted and valued institutions in the region.

The STL Headliner Awards is an annual community-choice awards program that recognizes businesses, organizations, institutions and professionals across the St. Louis region. The community was asked to submit their favorites in more than 140 categories and more than 23,000 nominations were received. From the finalists, the community voted for their favorites in each category. More than 175,000 votes were submitted to determine the honorees that were recognized as the 2026 STL Headliners.

“This recognition is a reflection of the incredible students, dedicated staff, supportive families and proud Pattonville community that make PHS such a special place,” principal Gene Grimshaw said. “Thank you for being part of the Pirate family and for helping make Pattonville High School a place where students can learn, grow and thrive.”
