Pattonville transitioning to Simbli as board management platform

Beginning with the Nov. 11 board of education meeting, the Pattonville School District will launch a new board management platform, Simbli. The district’s current platform, BoardDocs, is being phased out by its parent company, Diligent.

Simbli serves as the district’s new hub for board agendas and materials, meeting minutes and district policies. These resources are currently being migrated from BoardDocs and are expected to be fully transferred by the end of the calendar year. Until migration is complete, information will remain accessible in BoardDocs. Once the transition is complete, all district website links to board agendas and documents will be updated to direct users to Simbli. 

To support a smooth transition, Pattonville operated its October board meeting in both platforms. The Nov. 11 meeting will be the first to be fully managed and conducted through Simbli.

This summer, a committee of board members, administrators and staff reviewed available board management platforms, evaluating them on user experience, functionality, cost and value, support and training. The committee unanimously selected Simbli for its:

• Clean, user-friendly interface that makes it easy to locate board materials and policies.
• Advanced policy management features that streamline policy updates, organization and public access.
• A layout that is easy for public navigation.
• Comprehensive support and training resources for board members and staff.
• Strong customer service record and responsive technical assistance.

Simbli also integrates tools for strategic planning, evaluation and document management, which will help enhance transparency and efficiency in board operations.
