Notes from the Nov. 11 board meeting

Board Actions 

The board of education on Nov. 11:

  • Heard a Prop S update on current construction work;
  • Heard an update on Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) planning at Holman and Pattonville Heights middle schools and Pattonville High School; 
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s human resources program; read the report or view the presentation;
  • Approved paying $4,844,827.62 for regular bills;
  • Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for September 2025;
  • Approved paying $102,497.82 for purchases made on Pattonville’s purchasing cards;
  • Approved investments for September 2025;
  • Lodged for action the revisions to policies IGBA (Special Education), JFCA (Student Dress Code), JFCJ (Weapons in School), JGF (Discipline Reporting and Records) and JHG (Reporting and Investigating Child Abuse/Neglect); a vote is expected at the Dec. 9 meeting;
  • Approved, as lodged for action Oct. 14, the revisions to policy GCJA-R (Released Time For President - Certified Employee Group);
  • Awarded the quote for a multi-sport computer console, accessories, software and training from Colorado Time Systems for $40,694;
  • Approved the agreement with CDW-G for the purchase of Google Workspace for Education for students and staff for $21,000;
  • Approved the license agreement with Family Arena for the May 28, 2026, Pattonville High School Graduation for $26,000; and
  • Approved the change order for additional drilling of piers at Pattonville Heights Middle School for $250,942.61, net of the $100,000 allowance included in the original GMP.

New Hire

  • Jimika Reed, day custodian, high school

*Includes new Chartwells and Special School District staff.

Retirement

  • Lorna Bulger, science teacher at the high school, after serving Pattonville for 16 years
