Board Actions 

The board of education on May 12:

  • Heard a Prop S update on current construction work;
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the Title I program; read the report or view the presentation;
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the English learner program; read the report or view the presentation;
  • Approved paying $985,878.08 for regular bills;
  • Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for March 2026;
  • Approved paying $134,121.26 for purchases made on Pattonville’s purchasing cards;
  • Approved investments for March 2026;
  • Lodged for action the adoption of policy AFA (Data Reporting), the readoption of policy BCG (School Attorney) and revisions to policies AA (School District Legal Status), AD (School District Mission) and IIA (Instructional Materials); a vote is expected at the June 9 meeting;
  • Approved the May 2026 transportation route miles for the 2025-2026 school year;
  • Approved the agreement for the Imagine Edgenuity learning platform for the 2026-2027 school year for $48,772.50;
  • Adopted the instructional materials for K-5 math education;
  • Approved, as lodged for action on April 14, the adoption of policy IGDAA (Resident Participant Student Involvement in Activities and Events); readoption of policies IFB-R (Pilot Projects and Programs), IGAEA (Teaching About Drugs, Alcohol and Tobacco), and KLB (Public Questions, Comments or Concerns Regarding District Instructional/Media/Library Materials); revision of policies IGA (Basic Instructional Program), IIAC (Library Materials Selection and Adoption), IIAC-R (Library Materials Section-Adoption Procedures), and KLB-R (Public Complaints Regarding Instructional/Media/Library Materials); and the rescission of policy IIACA-R ("Weeding" of Library Materials Procedure); 
  • Approved the renewal agreement of the time and attendance system subscription with Frontline for the 2026-2027 school year for $15,702.43;
  • Accepted the renewal of the Canvas Learning Management System subscription from Instructure for $30,229;
  • Approved the renewal agreement with Mosyle for software and support services for July 9, 2026, through July 8, 2027, for $49,500;
  • Awarded the quote for the purchase of 100 Town Steel Aegis entry function cylindrical prep door locks with an interior indicator for $39,845;
  • Approved the execution and delivery of a master lease purchase agreement and Schedule No. 12 for 670 MacBook Air, AppleCare+ and 20 five-pack cases MacBook Air, AppleCare+ for teaching staff for $809,920 through a four-lease of $211,622.15 per year;
  • Approved the purchase and installation of furniture districtwide from Modern Business Interiors, Inc., for $427,593;
  • Approved the purchase and installation of cafeteria furniture for Pattonville High School from AmTab for $294,589.54;
  • Approved the purchase of elementary consumable instructional materials from Collaborative Classroom for $51,548.20;
  • Approved the renewal of the DreamBox Math Licenses for July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, for $32,352.26;
  • Approved the purchase of school to home communication services from ParentSquare for $30,418.47 to replace Bloomz;
  • Approved the contract with RMT Roofing and Waterproofing Consultants to manage the replacement of portions of Parkwood Elementary School and Pattonville High School roofs for $15,000;
  • Awarded the bid for 165 cases of floor finish to Buckeye Cleaning Center through the BuyBoard Cooperative Contract for $28,445;
  • Awarded the contract for special inspections and materials testing services for the proposed storm shelter and renovations at the Academy of Innovation at Remington to UES Professional Solutions 25, LLC, for $52,859;
  • Approved the purchase of eduCLIMBER licenses and implementation support from Renaissance for July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029, with a three-year licensing agreement for $123,627;
  • Approved the professional development services for eduCLIMBER through Renaissance for July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029, with a three-year licensing agreement for $26,549.84; and
  • Approved the renewal agreement with PowerSchool for software and support services for July 14, 2026, through June 13, 2027, for $190,652.51.
