Board Actions 

The board of education on July 28:

  • Heard a Prop S update on current construction work;
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the professional development program; view the presentation;
  • Approved paying $6,707,777.87 for regular bills;
  • Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for May 2026;
  • Approved paying $155,258.28 for purchases made on Pattonville’s purchasing cards;
  • Approved investments for May 2026;
  • Declared a list of items as surplus to be sold on the district’s GovDeals page;
  • Approved meal prices for the 2026-2027 school year; adult breakfast is $3.05 and lunch is $5.20; 
  • Approved the Pattonville School District facility rental rates for the 2026-2027 school year;
  • Approved the contract between Pattonville School District and Special School District (SSD) for substitute personnel services for the 2026-2027 school year;
  • Approved the plan design and premiums of the district's health and dental insurance for the 2027 12-month calendar plan year;
  • Approved the district's health, pharmacy, flexible spending account and COBRA plan administrators for the next three years;
  • Approved, as lodged for action on June 9, the 2025-2026 budget revisions
  • Approved, as lodged for action on June 9, the revisions to the 2026-2027 student behavior guides;
  • Approved, as lodged for action on June 9, the revisions to policies BBA (School Board Powers and Duties), BCE (Advisory Committees to the Board), BDDG (Minutes), BF (Board Policy Development), BI (School Board Legislative Program), and the rescission of policy BJ (School Board Memberships); 
  • Approved the selection of Cintas Corporation for the annual inspection of alarms and strobes for $18,465.51 and fire extinguishers for $19,197.34;
  • Approved the renewal agreement with BusinessPlus for software and support services for July 14, 2026, through July 13, 2027, for $72,058.15;
  • Approved the CLSS (connected life Safety services) point-to-point fire safety alarm monitoring service with Tech Electronics at a monthly cost of $1,587 (or annual cost of $19,044);
  • Approved the agreement with the Family Arena for the license agreement for the May 27, 2027, Pattonville High School Graduation for the estimated amount of $26,000;
  • Awarded the quote for purchase and installation of playground chips and districtwide ground mulch to Express Mulch Company for a total three-year award of $102,564, with $33,300 for 2026, $34,29 for 2027 and $34,965 for 2028;
  • Approved the agreement with Wireless USA to purchase 30 Motorola R2 UHF Digital Radios for Pattonville Heights Middle School for $19,756.25;
  • Approved the annual contract for phone system software maintenance and support with Mitel Software Assurance for $16,320.14;
  • Approved the purchase of Palo Alto firewall service subscription for a period of three years from Burwood Group, Inc. for $199,151.53;
  • Approved the purchase of core network switches from Provision Data Solutions for $19,046;
  • Approved the purchase of gaming computers for the eSports team from Micro Center Computers and Electronics for $42,486.58;
  • Approved the renewal of Scenario Learning employee training, safety and compliance software through Vector Solutions for $17,249.40;
  • Approved the Prop S change order for additional restroom work to meet current plumbing code requirements for $535,382.91; this change order will increase the overall GMP (guaranteed maximum price) for Prop S restroom projects to $3,576,871.91; and
  • Awarded the bid for musical instruments for the 2026-2027 school year to Nottelmann Music for $81,611.50 and Palen Music for $13,908 for a total of $95,519.50.
