Board Actions 

The board of education on Jan. 13:

  • Heard a Prop S update on current construction work;
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s gifted program; read the report or view the presentation;
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the special education program; read the report or view the presentation;
  • Reviewed an overview presentation on district climate data;
  • Approved paying $4,225,780.87 for regular bills;
  • Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for November 2025;
  • Approved paying $103,362.86 for purchases made on Pattonville’s purchasing cards;
  • Approved investments for November 2025;
  • Declared a list of items as surplus to be sold on the district’s GovDeals page;
  • Lodged for action the student and staffing projections for the 2026-2027 school year; a vote is expected at the Feb. 10 meeting;
  • Approved the employment of certified staff for the 2026-2027 school year;
  • Approved the 2026 legislative platform;
  • Lodged for action the revisions to policies GCBB-R (Professional Staff Supplemental (Stipendary) Pay Plan) and GCI-R (Certificated Staff Assignment/Administrative Transfer of Certificated Personnel and Professional Advancement); a vote is expected at the Feb. 10 meeting;
  • Approved, as lodged for action Dec. 9, the review of policy FJ (Temporary School Facilities); revisions to policies FB (Facilities Planning) and FF (Naming Rights); and the rescission of policies EEAG (Student Transportation reporting), FFB (Naming Rights), FFB-2 (Names on Building Plaques) and FH (Staff Orientation to New Facilities);
  • Approved, as lodged for action Dec. 9, the 2026-2027 2027-2028 and 2028-2029 school calendars;
  • Approved the agreement with CDW-Government to replace computers in four Windows computer labs (two at Pattonville High School and one at each middle school) for $76,037.85;
  • Awarded the quote for the purchase of 210 mortised door locks with an interior indicator to replace the failed Shelter-in-Place door hardware at Pattonville High School for $131,360;
  • Approved the purchase and installation of furniture for Willow Brook Elementary School and Holman Middle School through cooperative contracts for $75,789.50; and
  • Awarded the bid for the purchase of a truckload of copy paper (840 cartons) to Veritiv for $4,141.60.

  • Claudia Benbow, English learner teacher at Pattonville Heights, after serving Pattonville for 19 years
  • Scott Fader, art teacher at the high school, after serving Pattonville for 25 years
  • Nancy Henley, director of accounting at the Learning Center, after serving Pattonville for 24 years
  • Eric Johnson, history teacher at Pattonville Heights, after serving Pattonville for 17 years
  • Ricky Jones, bus driver development and safety trainer in transportation, after serving Pattonville for 26 years
  • Beth Kathriner, art teacher at the high school, after serving Pattonville for 32 years
  • Rodney Keithly, maintenance journeyman in the maintenance department, after serving Pattonville for 26 years
  • Stephen Nelke, residency investigator at the Learning Center, after serving Pattonville for 10 years
  • Karrie Peters, sixth grade teacher, after serving Pattonville for 26 years
  • Christina Poelker, bus driver in transportation, after serving Pattonville for 18 years
  • Ginger Roberts, fifth grade teacher at Drummond, after serving Pattonville for 30 years
