Board Actions 

The board of education on Aug. 12:

  • Heard a Prop S update on current construction work;

  • Heard an update on Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) planning at Bridgeway, Drummond and Rose Acres elementary schools; 
  • Approved paying $3,962,115.65 for regular bills;
  • Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for June 2025;
  • Approved paying $189,653.97 for purchases made on Pattonville’s purchasing cards;
  • Declared a list of items as surplus to be sold on the district’s GovDeals.com page;
  • Approved adult meal prices for the 2025-2026 school year; breakfast is $2.95 and lunch is $5.20;
  • Approved the facility rental fee schedule;
  • Approved a resolution authorizing and directing the issuance, sale and delivery of $30,000,000 principal amount of general obligation bonds, Series 2025;
  • Awarded the bid for the purchase of a truckload of copy paper (840 cartons) to Office Essentials for $24,343.20;
  • Lodged for action the revisions to policies GBB-R-1 (Professional Studies Ground Rules) and GCN-R (Evaluations of Certificated Staff); a vote is expected during the Sept. 9 board meeting;
  • Waived the lodging of and adopted policy JFCD (Student Use of Personal Communication Devices); lodging was waived to meet the Aug. 28 deadline established by law;
  • Approved the revisions to the 2025-2026 K-8 and high school behavior guides due to a new state law and the creation and approval of policy JFCD;
  • Approved the contract between Pattonville School District and Ro Health for nursing services for the 2025-2026 school year;
  • Approved the contract between Pattonville and Interim Health for nursing services for the 2025-2026 school year;
  • Approved, as lodged for action on July 22, the revisions to policy BBA (School Board Powers and Duties); 
  • Approved the agreement with Assist Services for transportation services for students in compliance with the McKinney-Vento Act;
  • Awarded the bid for security vestibules at Bridgeway and Drummond elementary schools, Pattonville Heights Middle School and the Learning Center to Hankins Construction for $899,600;
  • Approved the purchase and installation of a scoreboard system at the high school from Daktronics for $18,258;
  • Awarded the quote for purchase and installation of playground chips and districtwide ground mulch to Express Mulch Company for $30,725;
  • Approved the renewal of online benefit enrollment software with Explain My Benefits for an estimated annual cost of $64,300, which will be reduced by credits from work site product sales in addition to a $10,000 technology credit from the district's medical provider;
  • Awarded the agreement for wireless access to cameras on district buses to Gatekeeper USA, Inc., for an estimated $25,000;
  • Approved the purchase of the Ellevation license renewal for data management software for K-12 English learners (EL) from Curriculum Associates, LLC, for $19,500; and
  • Approved the subscription renewal for various Renaissance learning online products and services for $98,972.92.
