Board Actions 

The board of education on Oct. 14:

  • Heard a Prop S update on current construction work;
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s MSHSAA (athletics and activities) program; read the report or view the presentation;
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s wellness program; read the report or view the presentation;
  • Approved paying $4,759,736.72 for regular bills;
  • Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for August 2025;
  • Approved paying $67,482.82 for purchases made on Pattonville’s purchasing cards;
  • Approved investments for July and August 2025;
  • Approved a resolution authorizing and directing the issuance, sale and delivery of no more than $39,610,000 principal amount of general obligation bonds, Series 2025;
  • Approved the October 2025 transportation route miles for the 2025-2026 school year;
  • Lodged for action the revisions to policy GCJA-R (Released Time For President - Certified Employee Group); a vote is expected at the Nov. 11 meeting;
  • Approved, as lodged for action Sept. 9, the revisions to policies GDBC-R-2 (Sick Pay - Support Staff), GDBC-R-4 (Support Staff Leave), GDBE-R-1 (Support Staff Vacations), GDBE-R-2 (Support Staff Holidays) and GDE-R (Support Staff/Substitute Staff);
  • Approved sponsorship agreements with Chartwells, Right at School, SSM Health and Innovation Plumbing and Drain for the 2025-2026 school year;
  • Approved the purchase and installation of furniture from MBI and Smart Interiors for Bridgeway Elementary School and Pattonville Heights Middle School for $87,350.96;
  • Approved the purchase of a 2026 Ford F250 Super Cab 4x4 from Joe Machens Ford Lincoln for $47,590;
  • Approved the agreement with Microsoft for the purchase of licenses for students and staff for $29,656.32;
  • Awarded the quote for the purchase of 150 Schlage entry function cylindrical prep door locks with an interior indicator for $63,798;
  • Awarded the quote for the purchase of four mobile vehicle lifts for transportation from Automotive Services Equipment, Inc., for $32,376; and
  • Awarded the quote for the weekly uniform, rug, towels and mat cleaning for the three mechanics and driver/trainer in transportation from Cintas for $26,000.

Retirements

  • Don Furjes, principal at Remington, after serving Pattonville for 15 year
  • Theodosia Logue, gifted teacher at Holman, after serving Pattonville for 21 years
  • Joseph McCaslin, evening custodian at Remington, after serving Pattonville for six years
