New director of safety and assistant director of facilities named

The Pattonville Board of Education, on Feb. 10, approved the selection of two administrators who will begin their roles this spring.

Mark Mossotti has been selected as Pattonville’s director of safety, security and emergency management. Mossotti will begin his role on March 30. Kristopher Worstell was selected as Pattonville’s assistant director of facilities. Worstell will begin his role on April 20.

Mossotti is currently the chief of police in Bridgeton. Prior to that, he was the assistant chief of police for eight years, support division commander, detective division commander, detective and patrol supervisor and a police officer. Mossotti has a bachelor’s degree in administration of justice from the University of Missouri and an associate degree in criminal justice from St. Louis Community College - Meramec. He also graduated in the 234th session of the FBI National Academy. Mossotti will enter a position vacated by Brian Whitfield.

Kristopher Worstell

Worstell is currently the director of operations at Virginia Chance School in Louisville, Kentucky. Prior to that, he was the maintenance manager for Midwest Property Group and owner of Renovation and Handyman Services. Worstell has an associate degree in business from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh. This is a newly restructured position in Pattonville.
