Two administrators named for 2026-2027

The Pattonville Board of Education, on May 12, approved the selection of Dr. Molly Alferman as the assistant principal at Drummond Elementary School and Robert Anderson as the director of transportation, effective July 1, 2026.

Molly Alferman

Alferman is currently the administrative intern at Hancock Place Elementary School and was previously a summer school administrator and elementary teacher in the Affton School District. She has a bachelor’s degree with elementary education from Missouri Baptist University; a master’s degree in gifted, talented and creative education from Arkansas State University; and a master’s degree in educational administration and doctorate in educational leadership from Maryville University. Alferman enters a position currently held by Carley Tankersley, who will become principal next school year following the retirement of the current principal, Jason Van Beers.

Robert Anderson

Mr. Anderson is currently the assistant director of transportation in the City of St. Charles School District and previously a transportation safety supervisor at the Francis Howell School District and, for Pattonville, a substitute driver. He was also an assistant store manager for Sears working in the automotive department. Mr. Anderson has a variety of certifications, including a director certification from the Missouri Association for Pupil Transportation, Smith System Certified Instructor, Missouri Driver Trainer Course from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and a Class B CDL License (S&P Endorsements) from the U.S. Department of Transportation. Mr. Anderson also has a bachelor’s degree in photography and painting from Northwest Missouri State University. Anderson enters a position being vacated by Jim Troxel, who is retiring at the end of the school year.
