Board Actions 

The board of education on March 11:

  • Heard a Prop S update on current construction work;
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s students in transition program; read the report or view the presentation;
  • Approved paying $2,146,016.60 for regular bills;
  • Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for January and February 2025;
  • Approved paying $121,399.52 for purchases made on Pattonville’s purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of 1% (or $1,214);
  • Declared a list of items as surplus to be sold on the district’s GovDeals.com page;
  • Lodged for action the revisions to policies EB (Safety Program), EBA (Buildings and Grounds Inspections), IA (Instructional Goals/Priority Objective) ID (School Day), and the rescission of policies DM (Cash in School Buildings), EC (Building and Grounds Maintenance) and ECA (Buildings and Ground Security); a vote is expected during the April 8 board meeting;
  • Approved administrator/program director salary ranges and administrative philosophy/guidelines for the 2025-2026 school year;
  • Approved, as lodged for action on Feb. 11, revisions to policies IC-ICA (School Year/School Calendar), IGBI (Homeschooling), JED (Student Attendance) and JHDF (Suicide Awareness and Prevention); 
  • Awarded the bid for a time and attendance system to Frontline for April 1, 2025, to June 30, 2028, for $58,353.86; 
  • Awarded the bid for sections of roof replacement at Bridgeway and Rose Acres elementary school and Pattonville High School to Bartch Roofing for $1,085,842 and authorizes the chief financial officer to negotiate and enter into a contract based on the terms recommended;
  • Awarded the proposal for tires (new and retread) and service requirements to Pomp's Tire Service for an estimated $75,000 for 12 months with two additional one-year periods;
  • Approved the renewal of the Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise Licenses and Acrobat Pro Subscription with Adobe for Feb. 12, 2025, to Feb. 11, 2026; and
  • Awarded the bid for Pattonville High School yearbook publishing to Varsity Yearbook for $35,980 for a base of 600 books at 228 pages.

  • Diane Alt, bus driver in transportation, after serving Pattonville for 21 years
  • Kim Butts, director of purchasing at the Learning Center, after serving Pattonville for eight years
  • Dr. Melanie Fitzgerald, early childhood coordinator, after serving Pattonville for six years
  • Thomas Iffrig, driver education teacher, after serving Pattonville for 28 years
  • Diane Langston, eighth grade teacher at Remington, after serving Pattonville for 28 years
  • Cynthia Rolfe, paraprofessional at Remington, after serving Pattonville for 28 years
  • Stephanie Walton, math teacher at Pattonville Heights, after serving Pattonville for 31 years
