Board Actions 

The board of education on July 23:

  • Heard a Prop S update on current construction work;
  • Heard an update on the district’s redesigned website;
  • Approved paying $2,394,136.17 for regular bills;
  • Approved paying $276,558.70, for purchases made on Pattonville’s purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of 1% (or $2,765.59);
  • Adopted the resolution declaring official intent to reimburse certain project costs with proceeds of bonds;
  • Approved the agreement with ACE Learning Centers Inc., for an off-site alternative education campus for the 2024-2025 school year;
  • Approved meal prices for the 2024-2025 school year; breakfast remains free for all students, elementary lunch is $2.95 and secondary lunch is $3.10; adult breakfast rates are $2.85 and lunch is $4.08;
  • Approved paying $11,720 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan & Jackstadt for legal services;
  • Approved a contract between Pattonville and the Special School District (SSD) for general education services for homebound students for the 2024-2025 school year;
  • Approved revisions to Pattonville School District's K-8 student behavior guide for 2024-2025;
  • Accepted the 2024-2025 board of education committee assignments;
  • Approved the purchase of various Apple devices, including Mac Minis, Apple TVs, MacBooks and iPads, for $155,835.90; and
  • Accepted the proposal from TransAmerica for universal life insurance with long-term care benefits to be offered by the district but paid for by eligible employees.
