Board Actions 

The board of education on Dec. 10:

• Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s teaching and learning program; read the report or view the presentation;
• Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s gifted program; read the report or view the presentation;
• Approved paying $3,442,930.32 for regular bills;
• Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for August and September 2024;
• Approved payment to Education Plus for the balance of the 2024-2025 annual membership dues;
• Approved the 2025 legislative platform;
• Approved curriculum course change recommendations for the 2025-2026 school year;
• Approved the district financial audit for the 2023-2024 school year; view the presentation;
• Approved the contract with Sherwood Forest Camp for fifth grade camp in 2025 for $150 per student with an estimated total of $73,000;
• Awarded the bid for musical instruments 2024-2025 as follows: 
• Nottlemann for $73,260.95; Palen for $548.90; Steve Weiss for $40,621; and Top Notch for $65,785 for a total of $180,215.85; and
• Awarded the bid for replacement of synthetic football turf to ATG-Ram Industries for $578,100, including options, plus a 5% contingency of $28,905.
