The Pattonville School District received another clean bill of health in its annual audit by an independent auditing firm, Schowalter and Jabouri. In an update on the audit to the school board on Feb. 9, Pattonville Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Ron Orr told the board the district received an unmodified report. An unmodified report is the best a district can receive and means the district is fairly presenting its financial statements and maintaining good internal controls over district finances. The report also indicated there were no difficulties or disagreements noted during the audit, Orr said.

In-person classes are canceled today, February 10th, in the Pattonville School District due to inclement weather. Today will be a virtual learning weather day for students who normally attend in-person classes on Wednesdays and Fridays and for Villemade students. This means the Wednesday-Friday students and Villemade students will experience a combination of independent work with virtual support via Zoom from their classroom teachers. Students should log into Canvas or Seesaw to view instructions from their teachers and to find out when their teachers are available for support. For Tuesday-Thursday students, this will be a normal day of asynchronous learning. As an awareness for family schedules, today’s virtual learning weather day will not need to be made up in the future. Thank you.
