Parent Accounts

When you reset your password, you will be asked to use an email. YOU MUST use the email we already have as your contact email in PowerSchool.

1. In a web browser on a computer, go to https://powerschool.psdr3.org/public

2. Click "Forgot Username or Password?"

3. Enter the Username/Email you used to create your Parent Portal account.

The parent portal is where you can see your child's schedule, attendance, complete returning student registration, fill out digital permission forms, and check bus stop information.  Students in grades 6-12 will also have final term grades stored in PowerSchool.

Securly is the content filter we use to filter student devices. Parents who activate their SecurlyHome account can also use it to monitor and control Internet use at home.

Teachers use digital learning environments to provide learning resources, create assignments, monitor student progress, and assign grades. Those platforms will differ depending on the grade level of the students. For the most part, elementary students use SeeSaw and Empower Learning, while middle and high school students will do most of their digital classwork using Canvas. Students in Pirate Academy may use a combination of Empower Learning and Canvas.

No. Only students who are assigned a MacBook must pay a damage waiver fee. This is rare and only happens when there is a course-specific instructional need. iPads have coverage called Apple Care.

What is the Damage Waiver Program?

High School students are responsible for protecting their Pattonville laptop from loss or damage. However, accidents happen. In order to protect families from being responsible for the entire cost to repair a laptop, Pattonville School District uses a damage waiver program that requires families to pay an initial fee and then only be charged a scaled deductible for covered claims made to repair a damaged laptop.

Note: The Damage Waiver program is only required for students with a MacBook laptop, not for students with an iPad. iPads are protected by Apple Care + for Schools according to these parameters: Damage, Theft, Loss, or Failure to Return Procedures.
