Title I services are present to ensure all students have an equal opportunity to succeed in the school setting. The goal is that funds are spent to meet the needs of economically disadvantaged students paying close attention to closing achievement gaps, providing professional development, expanding family involvement and providing extended learning time. Schools qualify for Title I services by meeting federal guidelines for poverty in the specific school.
