Board Actions
The Board of Education on Jan. 22:
  • Reviewed upcoming trips by the Pattonville High School Robotics Club and varsity and junior varsity drill teams;
  • Reviewed an update on the Missouri Assessment Partnership (MOAP);
  • Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for the month of December 2018;
  • Approved paying $884,360.40 for purchases made on Pattonville's purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of nearly 1 percent (or $8,321.82);
  • Declared a list of equipment and furniture as surplus to be sold at auction on the district's website;
  • Approved the employment of certified staff for the 2019-2020 school year;
  • Approved the request for the high school varsity cheerleading team to participate in the National Cheerleaders Association National Cheerleading Competition;
  • Approved the 2019 legislative priorities for the Pattonville School District;
  • Lodged for action the review and revising of Policy BBFA (Board Member Conflict of Interest and Financial Disclosure); a vote is expected during the Feb. 12 board meeting;
  • Approved paying $1,706 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan and Jackstadt for legal services; and
  • Approved, as lodged for action on Jan. 8, the student and staffing projections for the 2019-2020 school year.

  • Emily Groneck, printing specialist, printing department
  • Lisa Lareau, bus driver, transportation
  • Kathleen Phillips, bus driver, transportation
  • Kellie Stewart, paraprofessional, Bridgeway
  • Jeffrey Stork, evening custodian, Holman
  • Barbara Klingert, secretary, Rose Acres, effective June 30, after serving Pattonville for 27 years
The board approved the separation of the following certified staff at the end of the 2018-2019 school year under Policy GCQF-R (Separation Incentive Plan):
  • Melva Arps, social studies teacher, Holman
  • Pamela Davenport, second-grade teacher, Remington
  • Barbara Graham, social studies teacher, Pattonville Heights
  • Twila Harris, family and consumer science (FACS) teacher, high school
  • Lisa Kickbusch, second-grade teacher, Drummond
  • Doug Newton, social studies teacher, high school
  • Robin Porzelt, second-grade teacher, Bridgeway
  • Donna Schmidt, science teacher, high school
  • Jaycyn Schnell, second-grade teacher, Parkwood
