Elective Exploration

I want to explore my interests.

At Pattonville High School, students can grow their talents and explore new interests through a range of electives. Whether in music or visual arts, theatre or fitness or beyond, students can explore what they enjoy through unique elective programs or through advanced courses in specific content areas. From writing for the school newspaper to learning a new language, students can find a passion that launches a life-long love and an opportunity for a career.

Orchestra, Band and Choir

Starting in elementary school, students can begin exploring their love of music. At PHS, students can take part in beginning to advanced courses in all of these areas as well explore courses in in Music Technology, Music Theory, and more.

Write for the Pirate Press; create the newest edition of Echo, the school yearbook; and share the news through online content and through video in Pirate Eye, PHS's own TV show.

Explore your fitness goals in the pool, on the court, in the gym, and on the field through over a dozen physical education electives.
