A Message from the Superintendent

Thank you for checking out the Pattonville School District. The Pattonville School District is a premier public school district in St. Louis County, Missouri. Pattonville is centrally located at the crossroads of two major interstates (I-70 and I-270) near St. Louis Lambert International Airport. The district encompasses 27 square miles, including Bridgeton, Creve Coeur, Maryland Heights, St. Ann, and surrounding unincorporated areas of St. Louis County, Missouri. 

We are home to the following:

One Early Childhood Center 

Five Elementary schools (Grades K-5)

One School of Choice Open to all Residents (Grades K-8)

Two Middle Schools (Grades 6-8)

One High School (Grades 9-12)

Alternative education (Grades 6-12)

The following district mission and vision statement has been in place since 1994 and is lived daily helping students achieve their best self:

Pattonville is recognized both in the state of Missouri and nationally as a high-performing diverse school district where all children learn.  Pattonville is ranked No. 11 among the Best School Districts on Niche.com’s 2024 Best Districts in Missouri list. Nationally, Niche ranks Pattonville in the Top 5% of districts (No. 604 out of 10,932). Pattonville High School is ranked among the top high schools in Missouri and the nation on U.S. News and World Report’s 2024 Best High Schools list. Pattonville ranked as No. 40 out of 618 high schools in Missouri, placing it in the Top 6% of high schools in the state.  The Pattonville School District has been awarded a 2023 Top Workplace honor by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The district was ranked No. 15 among the large employers in the St. Louis area (employers with 500 or more employees). This is the ninth year in a row Pattonville has earned Top Workplace recognition, and no other school district was ranked higher on the list than Pattonville.

Board of Education

Pattonville’s Board of Education is a seven-director representative body elected by the registered voters of the Pattonville School District. They each serve a term of three years to provide for and oversee the operation of Pattonville’s schools. School board members are non-paid elected officials. Pattonville’s board members do this out of a sense of caring and community and a sincere desire to fulfill Pattonville’s vision of achievement for all children.

Personalized Learning

Personalized learning in the Pattonville School District reflects our belief that there’s more than one way for students to demonstrate understanding on defined learning and high standards. Personalized learning will provide opportunities to truly put students at the center of their education and customize learning paths to better meet their needs.
