Board Actions
The board of education on June 25:
  • Reviewed and approved board member committee assignments and building liaison assignments for the 2019-2020 school year;
  • Reviewed and approved an evaluation of Pattonville's safety program; view the presentation to the board or read the evaluation report;
  • Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for the month of May 2019;
  • Approved paying $368,183.85 for purchases made on Pattonville's purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of nearly 1 percent (or $3,546.10);
  • Approved preschool tuition rates for the 2019-2020 school year;
  • Declared a list of items as surplus to be sold at auction on the district's GovDeals.com website;
  • Approved a National Board Certification financial support agreement;
  • Approved the Greater St. Louis Suburban Public Athletic and Activities Association resolution contract;
  • Lodged for action revisions to Procedure GCBA-R-1(Advancement of Professional Staff Salary Schedule); a vote is expected at the July 23 board meeting;
  • Approved paying $19,660.40 to EducationPlus for 60% of the 2019-2020 annual membership dues;
  • Approved paying $2,706.07 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan and Jackstadt for legal services;
  • Approved, as lodged for action on June 11, revisions to Pattonville's 2019-2020 student behavior guides;
  • Approved the district financial audit for the 2017-2018 school year, which was also previously reviewed by the district audit committee;
  • Approved the renewal of an agreement for diesel fuel for the transportation department with Energy Petroleum Company for the period of July 1 through June 30, 2020 for $168,410;
  • Approved the purchase of snow removal equipment (spreader and plow) from Knapheide for $23,202;
  • Approved the renewal of an an elevator maintenance agreement with Kone Inc. for the period of August 1 through July 31, 2020 for $18,420;
  • Approved the purchase of a garden tractor and implements from Bill's Place for $15,656.07; this purchase is being partially funded by a grant from the Bridgeton Landfill Community Project Fund;
  • Awarded a bid for wood chips and ground mulch to Express Mulch Company for $24,222.50; and
  • Awarded a bid to Follett Education Services to purchase the district's surplus textbooks for $15,575.
