Board Actions
The board of education on June 11:
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district's program for homeless students; view the presentation or read the report;
  • Approved paying $3,408,299.46 for regular bills;
  • Declared a list of items as surplus to be sold at auction on the district's GovDeals.com website;
  • Declared a list of textbooks as surplus and authorized them to be sold through a public bid process;
  • Lodged for action revisions to the district's student behavior guides; a vote is expected at the June 25 board meeting;
  • Approved curriculum course changes for the 2019-2020 school year;
  • Approved a high school band trip for the 2019-2020 school year;
  • Approved budget revisions for the 2018-2019 school year, as previously reviewed on May 21;
  • Awarded a bid for a visitor and volunteer management system to Raptor Technologies for $16,375;
  • Approved the purchase of security camera servers from Broadberry USA, LLC for $68,329.98; this purchase is funded by the 2017 zero tax rate increase bond issue;
  • Awarded a bid for maintenance of the Pattonville High School pool to Westport Pools for $15,696;
  • Awarded bids for various musical instruments to Low Key for $36,935 and Music and Arts for $19,060.50;
  • Approved the purchase of an annual subscription for the SeeSaw online learning tool for $12,825;
  • Approved the purchase of furniture for the second and third floors of the Pattonville Learning Center for $134,915.53; this purchase is funded by the 2017 zero tax rate increase bond issue;
  • Awarded a bid for sound and lighting systems for the Pattonville High School community auditorium to Fusion Media System for $986,922; this purchase is funded by the 2017 zero tax rate increase bond issue;
  • Awarded a bid for sanding and refinishing the gym floor at Pattonville Heights Middle School to Missouri Floor Company for $34,110; this purchase is funded by the 2017 zero tax rate increase bond issue;
  • Approved the purchase of fitness equipment for Holman and Pattonville Heights middle schools for $125,330 via a cooperative contract with Sourcewell and Advanced Exercise; this purchase is funded by the 2017 zero tax rate increase bond issue; and
  • Approved contract adjustments with GRP Mechanical Contractors for bond issue heating, ventilation and cooling (HVAC) modification for a project at the Pattonville Learning Center in amount of $223,383.
