Board Actions
The board of education on March 12:
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district's finance program; read the evaluation report or review the presentation;
  • Approved paying $3,100,067.97 in regular bills;
  • Approved paying $374,344.35 for purchases made on Pattonville's purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of nearly 1 percent (or $3,485.32);
  • Approved administrator/program director salary ranges and the philosophy/guidelines for the 2019-2020 school year;
  • Approved paying $3,016 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan and Jackstadt for legal services;
  • Approved, as lodged for action on Feb. 26, the agreement with the Pattonville Education Support Professionals (PESP);
  • Approved, as lodged for action on Feb. 26, the revision of Policy Procedure GDBE-R-1 (Support Staff Vacations), effective July 1;
  • Awarded a bid for sanding and refinishing the gym floor at Pattonville High School to Missouri Floor Company for $43,100; and
  • Awarded bids for summer 2019 bond issue construction to various contractors for $5,224,983; the projects are being funded by the 2017 zero tax rate increase bond issue approved by voters.

The board approved the separation of the following certified staff at the end of the 2018-2019 school year under Policy GCQF-R (Separation Incentive Plan):
  • Linda Tyahla, speech language pathologist, Early Childhood Center
