Monday, October 26, 2009
Pattonville's middle school cross country pilot program wrapped up on Oct. 10 with a cross country meet at Pattonville High School. Twenty-one eighth-graders from Holman Middle School, Pattonville Heights Middle School and Remington Traditional School took part in the meet which featured a two-mile course.

The top five finishers among the boys and the girls were awarded medals. Pattonville began a pilot this fall to explore additional ways to get middle school students involved in after-school activities. The meet was the culminating event for the six-week cross country program.  This winter, all eighth-graders can participate in a free six-week session of volleyball, which will conclude in a three-school tournament.
