Pattonville Education Foundation founders honored
Monday, September 14, 2009
In 1994, nine individuals gathered to create the Pattonville Education Foundation (PEF). The Pattonville Board of Education recently set aside time to honor the individuals who pioneered the foundation as original members of the Board of Trustees.

Current PEF President Mary Vaughan was on hand to present plaques to several founding members. The original board members were Maggie Borgmann, Kenneth Buhlig, Robert Dick, Rich Gould, Hubert Hoosman Jr., Tom Huddleston, Fredricka Lainoff, Patrice Rosner and Jim Valk.

The PEF serves Pattonville children by providing grants to support innovative educational programs in Pattonville schools. Thousands of dollars have been donated and awarded to Pattonville educators to support student learning programs.
