Nelson named among top 30 Leaders in their 30s

Barry Nelson, Pattonville's assistant superintendent for human resources, was recently named among those being honored in this year's 30 Leaders in Their 30s Award program sponsored by North County Inc. The award recognizes North County leaders in their 30s who are making a significant positive impact on the North County community through their profession and/or community involvement.

Nelson will be honored at a future North County Inc. reception. He has worked for Pattonville since 1997 and was principal of Rose Acres Elementary for 8 years before being named assistant superintendent. He also served as an interim administrative intern at Rose Acres and as a physical education teacher at Carrollton Oaks Elementary School (in Pattonville). He was also a teacher at Twillman Elementary School in the Hazelwood School District.
