| Pattonville school board members serve on leadership panel |

As one of five finalists for the Missouri Outstanding Board of Education Award in 2008, the Pattonville Board of Education was invited to serve on a question and answer panel about effective leadership at the recent Missouri School Boards Association Leadership Summit.
The event provided training for Missouri school board members and superintendents and provided opportunities for board members to earn credits toward completing required training for new school board members. A team from Pattonville participated in one of the major addresses at the event, the Outstanding Board of Education Panel. The panel featured board members and superintendents from the five finalist districts for MSBA’s Outstanding Board of Education Award of 2008 sharing their best leadership advice. Participating in the panel were Pattonville Board President Ruth Petrov, Board Director Ron Kuschel, Board Director Patty Polster and Pattonville Superintendent Dr. Michael Fulton. Petrov also presented in the session, “Effective Board Presidency.”
