Pattonville Announces Lunch Policy
The Pattonville School District will participate in the free
and reduced price policy for school children unable to pay the full price
of meals served in schools under the National School Lunch Program and
the School Breakfast Program.

Pattonville Seeking Senior Adult Volunteers
to Help Boost Reading and Language Skills
The Pattonville School District is currently seeking senior
adults to volunteer for its intergenerational tutoring program. All Pattonville
elementary schools participate in this program which matches trained volunteers
with students in kindergarten through third grade. Each volunteer spends
about 40 minutes once a week working one-on-one with a child on reading

Preschool Play School Opens at Pattonville
Enrollment is open for Play School for preschool children at
Pattonville High School. Children must be at least two years old to enroll.
The Play School is part of the high school child development program,
a division of the Consumer and Family Sciences Department. It is held
at Pattonville High School, 2497 Creve Coeur Mill Road, Maryland Heights.

Bob Drummond Honored with Community Service
Award
Bob Drummond, serving his 30th year on the Pattonville School
District Board of Education, was recently honored with the 2001 Community
Service Award sponsored by Commerce Bank. In addition to the personal
honor, the recipient receives a grant to contribute to an organization
of his choice. Drummond chose to contribute the $7,500 to the Pattonville
