Pattonville community invited to help prioritize future facility needs for area schools

Schools in the Pattonville School District will be hosting a series of one-hour "Building Blocks" community meetings designed to study and prioritize needs associated with improving and repairing district schools.(continued)

Pattonville board approves 2-year calendar

The Pattonville Board of Education on Nov. 22 approved calendars for the next two school years. The calendars for the 2006-07 and 2007-08 school years were drafted by Pattonville's Calendar Committee, which included a board member, parents, students, teachers and support staff.(continued)

Pattonville Alumni Association crowns first-ever "Pattonville Idol" after three rounds of contests

Kelley Chestnut, a first-grade teacher at Parkwood Elementary School, was named the first "Pattonville Idol" in a competition sponsored by the Pattonville Alumni Association. Chestnut made it through three rounds of competition against 15 competitors and took the top prize recently in front of a standing-room-only audience.(continued)

Pattonville nets 5th perfect score on state's annual report; to receive "Distinction" award

The Pattonville School District recently learned that it had scored a perfect 100 out of 100 points on its 2005 Annual Performance Report (APR) issued by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).(continued)

Two teachers from the Pattonville School District are among a select group of educators nationwide who earned the highest professional credential in the field of teaching this year - National Board Certification.(continued)

Pattonville Education Foundation awards grants

The Pattonville Education Foundation has announced the winners of its 2005-06 grants to Pattonville educators. The Foundation recently announced it had awarded more than $13,000 in grants to Pattonville educators for innovative programs in the classroom, a record amount for the Foundation.(continued)

Pattonville honors school board members

A group of students from Rose Acres Elementary School recently offered words of thanks to Pattonville school board members for their volunteer service and support to children at their school and throughout the district. The students gave a presentation to the board on Jan. 24 as part of School Board Recognition Week in Missouri.(continued)
