Pattonville celebrates Constitution Day
On Friday, Sept. 16, schools in the Pattonville School District joined the rest of the nation in celebrating Constitution Day. A federal law enacted last year requires all public schools to formally observe Sept.17 as "Constitution Day," the anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787.(continued)
Bridgeway K-Kids raise funds for relief efforts
The K-Kids Club of Bridgeway Elementary School in the Pattonville School District recently raised nearly $1,700 from staff, fellow classmates and family members to support relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina survivors.

Pattonville seeking senior adult volunteers to help boost reading and language skills
The Pattonville School District is currently seeking senior adults to volunteer for its intergenerational tutoring program. All Pattonville elementary schools participate in this program, which matches trained volunteers with students in kindergarten through third grade. Each volunteer spends about 40 minutes once a week working one-on-one with a child on reading and language skills. (continued)
