Updating Pattonville's Strategic Plan

Pattonville updates its strategic plan every five years. This plan, known as the Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (or CSIP), is focused on
• Improving student achievement for all students;
• Involving parents, students, staff and community members in the decision-making process for their schools through School Improvement Teams; and
• Addressing critical issues such as finances and facilities.

During the 2008-2009 school year, committees of parents, students, staff, board members, administrators and community members are working together to update the district's plan; this plan will go to the Board of Education for approval and will guide the district's work on behalf of students for the next five years.

Committee members officially began their work on Sept. 15, 2008, with a CSIP Kick-Off meeting. Volunteers heard an overview of current issues, learned about the CSIP planning process and were given time to meet in their individual groups.
