Eight PHS students to compete in St. Louis Teen Talent Competition Feb. 9-10

Eight students from Pattonville High School will compete in the preliminary round of the third annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition on Feb. 9 and 10 at the Fabulous Fox Theater. Students will compete for college scholarships, prizes and public appearance opportunities as part of the competition.

Pattonville students competing in the contest and their peformance talents are: Carolina Cid, singer; Abigail DiRie, pointe dancer; Joe Johnson, singer; Tommy Lee Maxwell, hip hop/dubstep dancer; Roger Netherton, fiddler; and Ryan Dufoe, Jordan Paine and Michelle Walsh, singers/guitarist/drummer.

The St. Louis Teen Talent Competition is an adjudicated competition showcasing the talented teens of the St. Louis Metropolitan area. Students showcase their talents in a variety of performance categories, including singer, actor, dancer, musician, comedian, magician, ventriloquist and circus skills performer (i.e., juggler, clown, aerialist, etc.). The competition is sponsored by the Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation.
