HOLMAN MIDDLE SCHOOL
Diverse City Art Competition
Holman eighth-graders Analiese Smith placed first, Sofia Boughton earned second and Lauren Keller placed third in the middle school category of the Diversity Awareness Partnership’s Diverse-City Art Competition. The competition gives students the opportunity to express their understanding and awareness of diversity and inclusion within their communities and schools through art.

PATTONVILLE HEIGHTS MIDDLE SCHOOL
Arts for Life
Seventh-grader Ethan Massey was selected by Arts for Life as a nominee in the best youth supporting actor category at their annual Best Performance Awards for Community Musical Theatre. Massey was nominated for his performance in “School of Rock” by Shooting Star Productions.


PATTONVILLE HIGH SCHOOL
State Track and Field - Girls
The girls track team placed second overall at state. Pattonville was the only high school in Class 5 to have both its girls and boys teams place in the Top 5.
        The 4x400 relay team of Demisha Anglin, Kendall Battle, Brooke Jenkins and Jada Moore placed second at state and set a new school record. To advance to state in the 4x400 meter relay, Anglin, Battle, Jenkins and Zharia Matthews placed second at the sectional tournament and were champions at the district tournament. All earned All-State honors.
        Anglin also competed in the 400 meter dash, placing eighth at state and fourth at sectionals and districts. Battle qualified for state in javelin after placing second at sectionals and earning the district championship. Jenkins placed fifth at state and second at sectionals and districts in long jump. In the 100 meter dash, Moore was the state champion and sectional champion and placed second at districts. In the 200 meter dash, Moore placed second at state and was the sectional and district champion. In the 400 meter dash, Moore placed fifth and broke a school record at state and third at sectionals and districts. She was also named All-Conference First Team. At state, Diamond Richardson placed third in shot put and discus, both of which set school records. At sectionals, she placed second in discus and fourth in shot put. At districts, Richardson was the district champion in shot put and placed second in discus. She was also named All-Conference First Team and All-State.
        Lucy Ndungu qualified for state after placing fourth in the 3200 meter run at sectionals. She qualified for sectionals after being the district champion and was also named All-Conference First Team.
        At districts, Katie Basta placed second in javelin and pole vault, qualifying her for the sectional tournament. The girls team was coached by Corey Lewis, with assistance by Margaret Gender, Kyle Hall, Scott Hauser, Rob Lamb and Kara White.

State Track and Field - Boys
Pattonville’s boys track team placed fifth overall at the state competition and several students earned individual recognitions at state, including being named All-State and All-Conference First Team.
        The 4x200 meter relay team of Derrick Boyce, Michael Jackson, Charles Shelton and Travis Tyler placed second at state. At the sectional tournament, they were champions in the 4x200 meter relay and placed second in the 4x100 meter relay. They were district and conference champions in both the 4x100 and 4x200 meter relays and broke the school record in the 4x200 relay in both tournaments.
        Boyce was also named a state, sectional and conference champion  and placed second in districts in javelin. In the 200 meter dash, Boyce earned fourth at districts and the conference tournament. He was named All-Conference First Team and All-State.
Jackson placed second at state and sectionals in the triple jump and was named district and conference champion. In the long jump, Jackson placed fourth at sectionals, was district champion and placed second at conference. He was also named All-State. Shelton placed second at sectionals, third at districts and was conference champion in the 100 meter dash. He was named All-Conference First Team and All-State. Tyler placed third at sectionals and second at the district and conference meets in the 100 meter dash. He was named All-Conference First Team and All-State.
        Also at state, Dakari Streeter placed third in javelin and discus, which set a new school record, and sixth in shot put. At sectionals, Streeter was the champion in shot put and placed second in discus and javelin. At districts, he was the champion in discus, javelin and shot put. At the conference meet, Streeter was conference champion in discus and placed second in shot put. He was named All-Conference First Team and All-State. Robert Gibson placed seventh at state and was the sectional champion in the 1600 meter run. He was also district champion in the 1600 and 3200 meter runs. At conference, he placed second in the 1600 meter run and third in the 3200 meter run. He was named All-Conference First Team and All-State. Lucas Gibson qualified for state in the 1600 meter run after placing second at sectionals and districts and third at conference. He also placed fifth in the 3200 meter run at the conference tournament. He was named All-Conference First Team and All-State.
        At the district tournament, Hameed Qasem qualified for sectionals after placing fourth in the high jump. He qualified for districts after placing second at the conference tournament. Isaiah Wilkes qualified for sectionals after placing fourth in discus at districts and at the conference tournament, where he was also named All-Conference Second Team.
        At the conference tournament, Brock Beins placed fourth in the varsity pole vault and was named All-Conference First Team. Alex Djetto was named All-Conference Second Team. Also at conference, Allen Dotson placed second in the JV triple jump; Alex Duello placed fifth in the varsity 400 meter dash; Drake Ives placed fifth in the JV 3200 meter run; Joshua Killian placed fifth in the JV 1600 meter run; Brandon Price placed fourth in JV javelin; Donovan Prott was named conference champion in JV javelin; and Terrell Sanderson placed fourth in varsity shot put and was named All-Conference First Team.
        The boys track team was named conference champions and district champions for the first time since 1999. Additional members of the championship team are: Akinie Anglin, Christopher Barry, Tyler Brown, Dennis Copeman, Michael Davis, Keon Green, Daylon Griffin, Patrick Hachmeister, Kyle Halveland, Daylen Hawthorne, Keith Jackson, Collins Karanja, Zeresh Lewis, Jr. , Ja’len Melvin, Jeffrey Morgan, Jessel Prabhu, Jas Rai, Jaylan Regans, Darrion Robinson, Samuel Sanderson, Drake Seabaugh, Jeron Smith, Savon Smith, Steven Smith, Dan Trieu, Grant Wedig, Jacob Whittinghill, Jacob Wilfong, Ronald Wilkerson, Logan Williams and Cameron Woods. Jeremiah Simmons coached the team with the assistant coaches Margaret Gender, Kyle Hall, Scott Hauser and Kara White.

Boys Golf Honors
Luke Carpenter was a sectional qualifier in golf. He was coached by Scott Hutson with the assistance of David Gross.


Boys Volleyball Honors
Pattonville’s volleyball team competed in the Class 4 District 4 championship match. Auston Bonte’ was named All-Conference First Team, Player of the Year and Conference MVP. He also broke the school record in all-time kills twice. Cole Cwiklowski was named All-Conference First Team and broke the school record in all-time assists. Jake Richardson was named All-Conference Second Team. Coach Kyle Walsh was named Conference Coach of the Year.

Baseball Honors
James Boswell and Brandon Canada earned All-Conference Second Team as shortstop and utility player. Jake Vitale was selected for the All-Conference Sportsmanship Award. The baseball team was coached by Rob Simpson with the assistance of Victor Fink.

Lacrosse Honors
The following students were named All-Conference First Team: Leslie Azwell, Bianca Johnson, Victoria Lofland, Abby Surlet and Alexandria Taylor. Earning All-Conference Second Team honors were Mikayla Bridges, Helen Nelson and Taylor Wooten. Sarah Johnson was named All-Conference Honorable Mention. The team was coached by David DiPasquale with the assistance of Lisa Foust.

Girls Soccer Honors
Kaeli Benedict, Cameryn McGee and Kat Stroot were named All-Conference First Team for soccer. Earning All-Conference Second Team honors were Desire’ Adams, Lauren Griffin, Jordyn Lodes, Talia Sinclair and Rachael Vitale. Emily Schrumpf was named All-Conference Honorable Mention and selected for the All-Conference Sportsmanship Award. Kendall Battle was named the Offensive Player of the Year in soccer. The team was coached by Jason Sellers with the assistance of Tomi Benney.

Braden Hanford was named All-Conference First Team. He was coached by Tom Crockett with the assistance of Marcus Christian.
